Math: We are continuing our work with fractions. We will be working on equivalent fractions, comparing fractions, and finding common denominators. Please continue to work on your multiplication facts.

Reading: We will be working on cause and effect this week. Our story is What Jo Did.

Language: We are working on common and proper nouns. A noun is a person, place, thing, or idea. A common noun is a general noun such as boy, girl, dog, school. A proper noun is a specific noun such as a name (Watt Hardison Elementary, Mrs. Renfro, etc.). A proper noun always starts with a capital letter.
  

Science: We are beginning Chapter 1 Lesson 3: Energy Needs in Ecosystems. We will be learning about food chains and webs, and how animals rely on one another for the energy to live.
